Spruce Partners Inc. is a real estate development firm focused on the development of seniors' housing. While Spruce Partners will consider opportunities in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia the primary geographic focus is the Greater Toronto Area. Founded in 2016, Spruce Partners is owned and operated by Joseph Wiley and Paul Sustronk. Joe brings to the partnership 25 years of experience in private equity, including as a founding partner in Birch Hill Equity Partners. While working for Birch Hill and its predecessors, Joe was involved in over 70 seniors supportive living projects. Paul has enjoyed a long career in real estate brokerage, portfolio management and development. As a development project partner, Spruce Partners is dedicated to bringing together the most talented developers, builders, operators and care givers to provide best-in-class seniors housing. Spruce Partners will only participate in creating housing where we would want our parents to live.
